Guidelines
General
Absolutely no alcoholic beverages consumed at any time during the hunt. Alcohol will be allowed after all hunting is done for the day.
No smoking in any of the buildings, in the areas where hunting gear is stored, or in the woods.
Deer Stands and Equipment:
There will be stands available, but if you have one you would like to bring you can. If you do bring your own it with be inspected and we will let you know if we will allow you to use it.
You will be taken to your stand site or as close as weather and road conditions will permit.
You are expected to stay in your stand unless a guide moves you or you have cleared your move with the guide. At no time should you be wandering through the woods on your own.
Deer Harvest:
Size: Antlers must be beyond the ears. Allow the small bucks to mature. They will be the monster bucks in a couple of years.
Location and Recovery: After shooting a deer, remain in your stand and observe the location or direction the deer travels or beds down. Do not pursue the animal. Contact your guide and he will decide how soon to start tracking and the procedure to be used.
Processing: Deer harvested before the last 24 hours of your stay can usually be processed at a nearby locker service and will be ready to take with you. One taken later than that will need to be cut and put in coolers packed in ice.
Housing:
Bedding, towels, and food are furnished. Bring your own personal hygiene products.
